It is the year A.D. 2307. Fossil fuels on Earth have been depleted entirely, with mankind turning to the next available power source: solar energy. During this time, 3 orbital elevators with solar power generation systems are built, each under control by the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations (formerly United States of America), the Human Reform League (Russia, China and India) and the Advanced European Union. However, not all countries are able to enjoy the benefits of this system, leading to widespread resentment and war. Arising out of the conflict, a mysterious military organization known as Celestial Being appears, dedicated to end all warfare using Mobile Suits called Gundam. This begins the stories of Gundam Meisters (pilots) Setsuna F. Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism and Tiera Erde as they are thrown into conflict between the 3 superpowers and the various other factions.

I watched the first season on Sci-Fi channel. Good stuff. What was your favorite scene or what scene effected you the most?

Didn't really feel much for her. As good as plot, characterization and mecha battles are in gundam 00, the romance in this series isn't very convincing. Al/Soma pairing was a little bit too sudden and Lyle/Anew felt somewhat forced. Absolutely loved the battle scene in the episode though. Cherudim going gun kata on Anew's unit was awesome. That new suit will burn another hole in my wallet. AFTER I pay for the Konata Cosplay Figma which costs three times what it cost last year. Accursed limited edition release

My favorite scenes were when setsuna first saw the 0 gundam, hal/al combo doing uber pwnage and the orbital elevator's collapse.

i feel pity for lockon rather than anew. well i kind of hate her a little because she still fight lockon even though she already new her feelings and lockon's feeling for her.(i dont mean when she is been control. i mean is when lockon dont shot the shuttle and she said "i really do love you lyle"). quite sad
gundanm give me the feeling when i watch code gease. lots of character die.

Just watched ep 22. Graham's way GAR! Masurao/Susanoo was really a samurai flag after all. That was a nice touch revealing the Flag's head under the helmet. And the new weapons and battle scenes were great. It really felt like an all out battle where everyone was doing something. Can't wait to see the 0 gundam in action.

I LOLed when AnewxLockon first came out...I mean, it looks like they just started talking, and then a few episodes later, BAM, they're sleeping together? D:

Eh, I was just wondering--what happened to Ali? It's like he's been forgotten by the screenwriter (or is Fujiwara too busy or something?) . He'll probably pop up soon to bother Setsuna again though. - _ -

next episode setsuna goes innovator and does anyone else feel this season was rushed like R2

Bandai believes in milking us for money so they meddled with the production so that a movie is possible. That lylexanew was sudden but judging from the director's work, he's never been brilliant with romance
