his name is Gahald Bahren, because of Reifon his kei been damaged seriously and he cant use kei anymore, living on bed at hospital for a quite long time.
well, an old-stage pollutant beast(*) got inside Grendan, this beast is a special type, which can parasite on human. It attacked the bed-ridden Gahald and in the end, making him a monster.
this (gahald+beast) thing moves by Gahald's hatred and negative feelings and started targetting persons who close to Reifon(Leerin, and also their father) and so Savaris and Lintens sent to guard Leerin |
about pollutant beast
| Spoiler: | | | (*): old-stage pollutant beast. pollutant beast have few stages in their life cycle.
1. larvae
2. prime-age stage 1 to stage 5
2. old-age stage 1 to unknown
the older they be the stonger they become, and while they grow they also losing their legs. old-stage pollutant beasts dont have any legs. and the beast that Reifon and 2 heaven blade wielder fought on eps 1 is old-age(maybe 3rd stage). the beast that Reifon tried to beat had just changed the form to old-age (that mean it s old-age stage 1).
and even for Grendan, there re also pollutant beasts that they couldnt kill, or got escaped(usually old-age stage 2 or above). they called it pollutant beasts "with name". to put it simple, they give it a name. |

"what are"? oh yeah, their weapon. like the name, their weapon is called the "heaven blade", made only for fighting pollutant beasts using the "white gold". it said the white gold is the best of all metal to be made weapon, and only the grendan kingdom have it. |

ans: him, you mean Reifon? in available volumes, it s still not clear yet who is his love interest. have to wait for more volume...

ans:
Shoukei(衝剄): release kei as a shock wave (all)
Shinkei(針剄): loads kei into the weapon, then release it (by swinging the weapon) as a small condensed kei(looks like needle) to the opponent (Reifon)
Kakei(渦剄): creates a maelstrom in the air, pull the opponents inside it, then release countless Shoukei into them (Reifon)
Houkeisatsu(咆剄殺): destructs the union of molecules in the air by releasing shocks from the mouth. Luckens Secret Technique (Reifon, Savaris, Gaharld)
 dang  too lazy to list them all 
maybe i ll update when I feel like to do it...  |

ras have just asked the same question on irc.
1.| Spoiler: | | | the moose is Haikizoku(the Scrap Tribes). it is the spirit of that dead city.
every city's spirit will turn into Haikizoku if the city they reside were destroyed(by pollutant beasts or other reasons). they lose their home and become "crazy".
as the result, they will search a new "home", which is not a new city, BUT a human. they will posses the human they think is worthy enough to receive their power.
this is what happened when that moose asked Reifon on episode 10. if reifon were to accept it, he ll receive inhuman power (or to put it easy: will get stronger) and turns immortal. The red haired guy IS one of these. He was possesed by some other city's spirit about 60 years ago(maybe wrong, I dont remember) |
