We now have a group for aspiring scanlators called Scanlation Academy where training will be provided. You have no obligation to join our group to become a member, though it would be nice of course If you would like to be made a member either post in the thread in the Welcome forum or PM thevampirate.
*edit* the group has open membership so if you wish to join you can also go to the Scanlation Academy group page and apply from there
