I've wanted to do this for a while but never bothered until today! so here I am putting in my application
Like a few others this was my first time cleaning a manga. I usually just mess around for my own amusement with random pictures in Photoshop 7.
The main thing I think I had trouble with was knowing how much to level but I think I did decent.

ok there is only one thing thats bothering me. the black eyes in the "hard" test need to be black. but thats a first class job you've done with the redrawing. great job.

also, when you go to the link for how to clean. Look up Gutter Shadow cleaning. That's probably the only thing I saw that needs improvement (in the medium quality test). But, like TM said, the redraws are awesome, and most of our projects don't have much problems with gutter shadows. But what do I know? I am a retired senpai who was a proofreader. lol.

Since I'm still kind of new to this the main question I have for other cleaners is. How long does it usually take to clean a page? That third page took me probably a little over two, maybe three hours since I'm still new. is that a normal amount of time to clean a page or fast/slow?

That's quite a while, but that's to be expected for your first. The main thing that experience brings is speed. But you did a real good job with the redraw. It's still slightly obvious that it was redrawn, but TSing over will cover it up. Crazy good for your first. Leveling's good, no problem there. Just keeping the blacks black is the main issue.

for a non redraw page and using tank raws it takes me a little over 30 min to clean a chapter give or take a couple min. it depends on the length of the chapter. but per page redrawing it takes me up to half an hour. after that i just say "F*ck it" and put a box over it. but non redraw pages take about 1-2 min for me. but when i learned i learned only how to speed clean (i did Naruto and Bleach and other high demand series that need speedcleaning.) my cleans aren't HQ. they are at best higher quality MQ.
and for reference it took me 4 hours on my first page. it'll become way faster once you start to know Photoshop (or whatever program you're using) well.
