This is my first time cleaning a manga, I hope I did well and didn't mess it up completely.

I couldn't quite do the lines in the last panel... but I guess perfection comes with experience...

Overall, your leveling needs some work.

1) Underleveled, if any was done at all. Grays look too dark.

2) Redraws are good, overall good job with this page.

3) Same as 1. Make sure the blacks are burned/leveled properly. Redraws are good for the most part, little choppy, but it would probably look good once TSed over.

Just work on your leveling some and try one or two more pages.

I actually made the first one darker which sort of worsened the leveling, I just thought that it looked better...

When you say that I should try one or two more pages do have any specific pages I should try myself on or can I just look through the net for RAWs?

advice:
you can use burn to not over level it.

Wand to select black areas + burn tool saves lives tbh.

ok first of all i must ask. what manga is that in the first cleaned page

ok now for what i thought of it.

1. i like the fact that you got the blacks nice and black and the whites white. however, i think that the greys could be a tad lighter. other than that, great job.

2. same as #1. the greys are a little dark for me. also that page redraws are kinda hard. 8/10 i'd say, 'cause i tried that test myself. just don't rush the redrawing and take your time. (not that i can say that my redraws (or patience) are very good. so i'm really not one to talk about redrawing.

3. ahh... this is one that your lovely blacks are lacking. the blacks are not all black. if it looks like it is all black on your monitor just turn up the brightness and you'll see what i'm talking about. and the last panel.
ok its good that you know that you messed it up a little.
so the main problem with the redraw is the lack of black and the jagginess of the redraw. you probably should burn the blacks (thats what i do anyways.) and then either use the pen tool (there's countless tutorials on the 'net) or use a very steady hand at about 300% magnification. i prefer to use the steady hand due to its quickness (spellcheck does say this is a word. O_O)
my way to get good mouse control is to either clean alot or to play lots of mouse dependent games. (FPS, RTS, etc.) which is a much better way in my opinion. more fun

and just correct that and i think that you'll be a great cleaner

which manga? dunno ^^, I'd say NA, they are the ones posted here

I somewhat like the redrawing I did on the med, and the hard is fine also, I think...
I found when leveling working in 250 Ppi (more is just silly ^^) seems to help...
