October 7thTomorrow's the 45th issue of magazine will be out. Unfortunately, no negima ><. But, you can look the result of the drama CD poll.(It is on the end of the magz.)
Poll result, the top 2 are
- chapter 164-165 "Mischievous magical spirit" (Misora chapter)
- chapter 118 "all the desires in your hand!" (negi vs nagi)
and add to that, chapter 181 and the Negima Test will also be included there.
While the bonus are; Kasuga Misora pactio card anda specially-made scenario book for the three chapters' stories.
At last, it is Misora's turn (laughs), she ll have huge role this time. And, I wonder who ll do Kokone and Shakti... tho it is possible to choose from other classmates's VA.

October 8thAbout the "Order" of the questionnaire (baitokun: I think he refer to the questionnaire inside the magazine)
The one I m introducing in this diary is mainly a simple "Order".
- 5 Interest
- 1 Interest
I always use one of that words or both in this diary.
Well, "5 interest" is what I call a manga that people hard to hate (general ages usually read this). this type usually ranks on top, and also could be refer as "the will of general layer"
While "1 interest" is... a manga which reader have as their purpose on reading magazine. They read the magazine only because of the manga. also could be refer as "the will of the hardcore fans"
Negima have lots of its deep fans, so it s not strange to see negima's "1 interest" usually stronger. hmm, How strong is it...? well, these years negima always rank first, and sometimes second.
And for "5 interest", negima monopolized the first rank only when anime was aired(mahora tournament chapters, I think). After that, ... it is a great improvement when it get into 5th... When battles or magic fights occured in the chapters usually negima's position in the rank would also go up some ranks. Especially When Rakan has his appearance, the support from general layers seen to rise.
So, as for me, negima wont go up for another rank on "1 interest"(as it is 1st place after all), it is normal for me wanting to see negima goes up on "5 interest" side. That s why I mixed up battles chapter in negima.
BUT, lately negima's rank on "1 interest" always stops on second (sometimes 3rd) (though it happened only once). The ratio of battles was increased too much, and
there re possibility to which the hardcore fans leave negima.
Then, I made up that announcement the day before yesterday. (to increase the moe level).
- About the "Approval rating" of the questionnaire
And on those "order", there re an item called "approval rating". While there re also editors who only look to this rating. Well, this item is also a relative index just like "order" but have a more accuracy. Just when you see in "order" it is rank 1 and 2nd, for instance it seems fairly different. but if it s "aprroval rating" are 12% and 11.9%, it is almost the same rating. So what I want to say is, even if the order fell greatly (like from 1st to 5th), I wont ge that pessimistic too much if the approval rating doesnt change. Moreover, it s not like giving ranks to loads of mangas, so it is easy just to judge it like "the approval rating of an interesting manga usually is high".
... And, what s important is, looking from the approval rating, moe chapters are obviously low!
Yue chapter, or Ako chapter, even if they have good valuation in the eyes of bloggers in internet, the ratings are, yes, low. This is the same for "5 interest" side, and "1 interest" side too.
Then, do moe chapters ever took 1st place on "1 interest"? the answer is , yes, they do. but the ratings are low for a 1st place.
While for "5 interest", when negi and co in a battles scene or alike the rating would goes high, and when rakan did something stupid it went high also.
That is, if we look by the aprroval rating the "moe chapter would get high rate on 1 interest, while battle chapter would get high rate on 5 interest" is completely wrong.
Cause, in fact, moe chapters' rating were low, and battles chapters were high.
As for reference, negima has 11% in "1 Interest". 1st place is preferable to this. However, 1st place can also be taken even by 9%. (maybe occasionally come in 2nd place tho)
And 26% in "5 interest". well, highe than this would get into Best 5 easily.(5 interest is 500% in total. )
Then, why not do battle chapters all the time? well, it is not easy as that.
