Negi is supposed to make a pactio with his his students.
I never expected him to make one outside of 3A unless it was Anya.

She's the third princess so it'd probably be III right? Although he already has a pactio with Asakura so I'm not sure it'd do that...

Whoa, he's number 496, didn't expect it to be so high. As for its effects, maybe it lets him summon duplicates of his harem? I don't think it's terribly likely, but it would certainly be hilarious. Very Happy

All we know is it's a blank card. There's conjectures about it being either a wild card or possibly a nullification card to stop Rakan's pactio in this case. Still speculation though.

As for 496: that's 31*16. 31 being # of seats and who knows what 16 could mean. But we should be on Theo's numbering system now so who knows.

well that all depends on what the artifact does and if it will help against fate.

you know plot wise

theo did say that it was the key to victory so it could just be a deus ex machina
