Just found this trick on Jcafe. Since I think it was Brazen who was asking if you can DL from Youtube, yes! Search out the vid you want and put the word KISS before Youtube so it looks like the following: http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=tjnMIlbD0n0 That's Part 1 of Ala Alba OVA 2 btw. This will redirect you to a DL site where it downloads as a .flv file (flash) so the entire thing would be around 70MB rather than 170MB Try it, it works nice

Note that the smallest version is bad quality and gets pixelated, but you can download Youtube HQ as an MP4 too.

The link above as .flv (low quality) = 23MB
The link above as .mp4 (high quality) = 43 MB

Just to let you know, mp4 format is a bad quality format vs something like XVID or H234 with FLAC audio. That is the best.

I downloaded an add-on that downloads streaming and embedded that works better so I'm good. But meh, I didn't expect that first idea to be the best.

it works exactly the same way, about 23Mb for flv, 40Mb for mp4.

I downloaded the second ALA ALBA OVA when it was just the raw, though.

I've moved past that first way I posted. FireFox add-ons are the way to go.

Is there a program that downloads them as WMV or AVI

I use the firefox add-on cacheviewer and let the videos load up while I'm doing other stuff. Later I just open cacheviewer and save the videos from my cache into another folder. It's really useful when I want to download a whole bunch of videos and it works with more than just youtube.
