I think you have to cut your wrist (not fully) and transfer the blood to your partner.

| The blood ritual is to slice the palm of your hand or wrist (but not too deep or you sever a major artery and die!) then clasp hands together so the blood comes into contact, though that is actually a possible way to transfer certain diseases not the least of which is Auto-Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) the blood drinking is not actually mentioned at all, it is only a misinterpretation. The scandinavians of the Viking era used to do a blood-brotherhood ritual something along the lines of what I said. Besides which, maybe Al is actually bi-sexual. What about Rakan, he certainly isn't gay, (unless maybe his lecherous behaviour is over-compensation) On a side note Rakan's artifact is kind of like Archer's Imaging/ Unlimited Blade Works from Fate/Stay Night. |

| blood pact is hardly like an emo, it's more like pricking your finger with a needle, a single drop of blood is sufficient, and depending on the location, would probably be completely painless, and clot within minutes. |
