I have been reading naruto since 2004 and have been noticing it get worse and worse. now the only character i have been reading naruto has been (presumably) killed off.

how many of you have stuck through it this long or when did you drop it.

@starlight: it hasn't been confirmed or denied whether or not she's dead.
@ras: ya the series is finally getting back to the action. but i am getting tired of a good 5 chapters followed by 10 boring chapters. it isn't as bad as bleach but sometimes i feel like the maker decided to put fillers in the middle of the fights to slow down the story. and all of the jumping around between stuff that happened duriing almost every fight after the time skip just made the fights a lot less action packed. i may not drop it altogether just yet, but i might start to wait until there are a couple of unread chapters to read at once instead of reading them every Thursday night...

Character deaths are always good in my book though a recent death of a main character in neuro was way more shocking than this. Question is how all these deaths will develop naruto's character, will he start seeing it the same way pein does or will he keep up with his current beliefs?

well i like character deaths but at some point it loses its edge when everyone starts dieing. and hinata hasn't even had much development after the time skip...
i guess i'm mad over hinata, but Kishimoto has been loosing his his touch. yes i'll admit that this arc is better than most and is really action packed but he is over doing it a bit. killing off a main character is one thing but killing asuna, jiraia, shizune, half the village, and presumably hinata is a bit over done.

at the rate the anime is going the manga will have to be rewritten since the free tials was found by orochimaru ^^
Kakashi must survive, otherwise Sakura dies...
