The chapter from Nagasarete Airantou was difficult because I didn't find the chapter it was for (I didn't look that hard, though), so I didn't have any context clues other than the script itself.

In each of the three chapters there were a lot of ellipses, a lot of which kind of seemed out of place. As far as I know, an exclamation point gives almost the opposite inflection to the end of a sentence compared to an ellipsis, so I got rid of one or the other based on what seemed more appropriate in the given context. Also, I moved the question marks to in front of any of the other punctuation marks (i.e. ?! instead of !? and ?... instead of ...?) because I thought it looked better like that. Finally, I only applied those rules for when those punctuation marks were at the end of the sentence; I didn't think it made any difference when there was nothing being said and therefore no inflection to modify.

I've not yet started on the QC test; I should have that done sometime in the next 12-15 hours, since it's now time for me to go to sleep.

I wasn't quite sure what to do with the notes, which is why I left them in. The "vacinity" mistake is somewhat embarrassing; spelling is usually my forte. Regarding the last note about "Freezing", I think the context of that statement lends itself better to leaving the "you are" un-contracted. From what I can tell, the sentence seems to be said in a slow, deliberate manner, with a slight emphasis placed on the word "are" or "you". If the "you are" is contracted, you lose the emphasis and part of the deliberation.

I only checked the Naga one but it looks good. A couple of minor errors that could be corrected by the typesetter.
Which project do you want to work on? If it's Naga then I'd accept you since I need the help.

But I'm only a retired member who just recently came back so I don't really have much say.

Nagasarete Airantou would be awesome; I really like that manga. Having caught myself up with Naga on OneManga, though, I still never came across the chapter which was used for the test here.

EDIT: Spoke too soon, it was apparently posted on OneManga last night.

ellipses are from the original raw... the Japanese love to put them in everywhere and they are usefull to bridge word bubbles and stuff.

Yeah, I could see that, but they still look kind of wonky in some cases, from my POV, at least. I don't mind leaving them alone, I was just trying to do as best as I thought possible in terms of correcting grammar for the test.

punctuation often has different meanings after they're typeset so leave punctuation as is, it's the safest bet

I have a high school level knowledge of Japanese (I can speak some, but nowhere near enough to translate) which helps me discern when and how exactly the ellipses really fit, and where they're not quite necessary. But as vamp said, leaving them alone is your best bet.

He's accepted but ask yourself the following question. How long do I plan on doing this? Recently we've run into the problem of people joining us and then after 1 or two projects leaving and it really hurts the team. So make sure you do have time for this before taking the job. When you reply to this with a yes or no then I'll give you member privileges.

I'll stay on the team for as long as I possibly can. I won't leave unless it's 100% unavoidable.
