well. i never really thought about it until lucaz's post soo...

well since we are all new to these stuff , a change is always a must though we all know we are still learning on doing things here but don't be discourage to what lucaz said, he's just a forum troll and a MSN hater that has ample time to be a jerk here. but at least we have time to give something to the manga community . and maybe after we do some scans people might change their POV about this site though it still looks quite ugly :/

Lucaz is what we in the business call a TROLL. Don't worry about it. It's functional and once we get into the swing of things, it's not going to matter what the forum is like. Hopefully we'll be to busy to worry about the forums nifty gadgets.

you're right Mongo , even AQS doesn't have a great site but provide the thing that most manga /anime lover wants , all that matters are results and nothing more

that just flamed the entire forum, and made a total fool of himself, before you banned him?
I would not take anything he said with even half a grain of salt.
This box I used is pretty much a quick reply, even if it doesn't say so.
The dark red quote is better, but a brighter colour might be preferable, and maybe green or cyan instead, since I tend to use red to highlight.
as for multiquote, that is pretty minor, I would think it was better to concentrate on more important tasks than worry about that, the users on this forum seem to be doing fine without that feature, for the time being.
In anycase I think what you have got here so far is an impressive achievement for something you just started. To all of you who might disagree with my opinions, just give it time, and I'm sure this forum will eventually grow to rival the OneManga in quality.

Maybe in 'quality' but not quantity, after all, this is only a scanlation team's forums. We'll need a homepage to display our releases, and only avid fans who want to talk to us will come here.

I guess that makes me avid...

for some reason in my post the word green ended up orange?
and lime works better than green on this dark background.

Maybe a tiled background relevant to MSN would be preferable to a plain dark grey, for the edges of the screen? Watermarked would be the best I think. It certainly would give the forum a bit more colour.

Probably because of the black template it turned orange. Well, TM wants black because he likes black colors and Ala Atra is supposed to be black.

well i like dark colours. but we can try lighter colours for a while...

I like the banner, the asuna pic ^^ and the looks.
but I dont like the background, it made the forum looks cheap, I prefer a plain black or dark blue... that kind of background made the forum like it was made by someone who just learn html for a few hours change it
